The welcomed Felicity Park amenities block is now open to the public, just in time for the holiday season.
Whether you’re a local taking a leisurely stroll, a visitor exploring our beautiful town, a market-goer wandering the Sunday Street Fair, book worm heading to the Library or an arts enthusiast wandering the Caloundra Regional Gallery, the Felicity Park Public Amenities add a touch of convenience to the heart of the Caloundra CBD.
The talented crew at Stickerman, a local sign-writing business, have transformed the blank canvas container building into Caloundra-branded artwork. Brett from Stickerman shared, “We saw the opportunity to incorporate the Caloundra branding through wrap-style signage. We’re happy with the outcome – the amenities block really pops in the popular Caloundra park.”
The new amenities feature two all-gender toilet cubicles with ambulant fittings and an all-gender person with disability cubicle. The 20 foot insulated container with modern fully compliant amenities are permanently connected to utility services.
Amenities for this area have been a long-standing request from the community with existing data showing over 20% of visitors to the Information Centre were on the hunt for public toilets.
Temporary directional signage has been strategically placed around the vicinity, whilst permanent signage is set to complete the project in the new year.
The amenity is open on a schedule with cleaning provided daily.
Additional public amenities are located at Minchinton Street and the Caloundra Bus Exchange.
