The title of the new public art installation on the corner of Bulcock Street and Knox Ave is inspired by a quote from the Lewis Carroll story, Alice in Wonderland. (note: Mural artwork across the road, ‘The Looking Glass Fish in the Deep Hue Sea’ takes inspiration from another Lewis Carroll story, Through the Looking Glass.

Alice in Wonderland Quote inspiring the new artwork:

Alice laughed. “There’s no use trying,” she said: “one can’t believe impossible things.”

“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”
