Look what’s emerging in Caloundra!

An incredible new public art installation called Emergence, by local artists Russell Anderson and Simone Eisler, has started to appear in Minchinton Street.
Taking inspiration from local sea life, the works were created in virtual reality then 3D printed in 316 stainless steel and include pixel lights with environmental sensors that determine their patterns and colours – amazing!!
The installation is a part of council’s Place2 project – a creative place making project bringing life and creativity to the urban heart of Caloundra.
Installation will be complete by the end of September with the final work featuring in the boardwalk on the Esplanade.
